Crane June 21, 2013 by Kayla Minguez 1 Comment 1. Start with the crane base. 2. Fold the sides of the top layer into the center line. 3. Repeat Step 2 on the reverse side. 4. Bend one of the “legs” upward. Do this for the other leg, and then flip the paper over and do the same on the other side to create a strong crease on each leg. 5. After you’ve creased both legs, slightly unfold one of the legs and begin to flip it inside out, while pulling it toward the top of the paper. After you complete Step 5, the paper should look like this. 6. Do the same for the other leg. 7. Hold the paper at the base of one of the legs and gently pull the leg out slightly. Do this to each leg. 8. Gently unfold the top of one of the legs and fold the “beak” inward. 9. Your crane should look like this now. To complete it, gently pull on the wings in opposite directions. This will expand the body of the crane and complete the piece. Congratulations! You’re origami crane is complete! Advertisements Share this:TwitterFacebookLike this:Like Loading...
